Support Groups

Our support groups meet weekly in the Ministry Building, but some do take breaks during the holidays and summer. All groups are free and open to the community, with no registration required. Contact us for more information on any of these groups.

 
  • GriefShare Virtual support group - Wednesdays on Zoom 6-8pm
    This group is intended for anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one, or who may be supporting someone else through loss. We will meet virtually from 6-8pm. Email bammelchurch@bammel.org to be added to the list to receive the access link. Facilitators: Ben Backor, DeAnna Graves, Kathy Ebbs

  • Recovery Program Wednesdays at 7:30pm
    This program is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, 12-step programs out there. The program of recovery is built on the simple foundation of one alcoholic sharing with another. There is no age limit or cost to attend. Facilitator: Gerald Bendele

  • Re:Mind Depression & Bipolar Support Thursdays 7:30-9pm
    Support group for individuals living with, or family and friends affected by, depression and bipolar disorders. Our support groups are led by licensed mental health professionals and co-facilitated by trained volunteers. Our groups provide a compassionate environment consisting of peers who accept and understand each other. This sense of community and empathy gives participants encouragement to live more meaningful and healthy lives. More info at www.remindsupport.org
